1) Getting the Most Out of Family Tree Maker: Learn how to start and build your family tree using Family Tree Maker with its easy-to-use tree building features and tools. Mark Olsen will demonstrate Family Tree Maker from installation to customizing and clicking in the right places to really open the doors to new possibilities.
2) Family Tree Maker: The Road Ahead with exciting news for the near future. Learn about the most recent additions to Family Tree Maker and see some of the exciting new collaboration and multimedia capabilities that are coming. Duff will teach us about the vision of Family Tree Maker and show some very cool new features that are coming soon!
Duff Wilson, Executive Director of Family Tree Maker, is considered by many as the father of modern Family Tree Maker, having been involved in the design of every edition since 2004. He has two decades of software design and development experience and has earned national awards for his work.
Mark Olsen is the Family Tree Maker Ambassador to historical and genealogical societies around the world working to support their members as they use Family Tree Maker. Mark is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Family History with a Spanish records emphasis. He has been working in the genealogy industry since 2007.
