The February meeting of your Canadian 🇨🇦eSIG Will be held on Tuesday, February 28, at 2 PM (Eastern).
The meeting will feature a video presentation: “Top Tips for Canadian Family History Research,” presented by Crista Cowan (The Barefoot Genealogist) of Ancestry.com.
The program will use the U.S. Ancestry website (Ancestry.com) to research Canadian genealogical subjects. It will approach the research by finding relatives who may have immigrated to or from Canada. Specific topics include planning, research questions, available records, tools, etc. In addition, there are many helpful aids to assist you in your research activities, for Canada or worldwide.
Join us for this interesting, recorded presentation. As usual, after the video, we will have a round table /workshop covering the Canadian genealogical subjects you want to explore. Please remember that we are a group dedicated to the mutual aid of our fellow genealogists.
If you are on our email listing, you will automatically receive an invitation to our zoom meeting a day or two before it's scheduled to start. If you have not previously participated, you may request an invitation by contacting us via email at thegscccanadianesig@gmail.com or alfronct@gmail.com
